Loughborough was looking blooming marvelous when the Judges arrived last week on July 13.
The sun shone and our volunteers turned out in force to support the efforts.
Chris Beale, Bloom judge said: “It’s been an enjoyable visit and we’ve met a lot of nice enthusiastic and committed people.
“We’re looking for consistency in horticultural achievement, environmental issues and the community.
“The town has changed a lot since I last visited in 2014 and it’s clear to see people have taken on board what judges have said in previous years.”
The East Midlands in Bloom results will be announced in October.
The Judges also added their support to the Keep Britain Tidy, Love Parks Week campaign.
They told us they thought Queen’s Park was ‘inspirational’ and well maintained.
